That's what we're supposed to send out on the first of the year, right?

I had a guy reach out on Telegram (link on the website) and ask me why he hadn't received any emails since he signed up.

Because I never set up a sequence, I just mail when I have something I feel is worth sharing...or the need to rant.

Then he asked about reading previous emails and I figured sure, why not...enjoy.

Why so quiet?

Mostly been testing like mad and I don't like to speak on any results until I see repetitive patterns.

The only thing worth mentioning is that content on pages that Google can't/doesn't return an AI overview on (think transactional) is vastly outperforming blog post content they can scrape and feed the LLM to answer the query up top before anyone sees your site.

It's a war for eyeballs and Google is staking their claim for every click they can avoid giving you. Until they're selling X or providing Y service, that's the arena I'm playing in.

Also been busy acquiring new inventory for links that produces results like this, because lol internet lol.

I've probably said this a thousand times now but if you focus on getting links from sites that Google ranks for valuable keywords (ie, someone is willing to pay a lot of money for clicks X good volume), SEO is back on easy mode again.

Every other metric is fugazi fugayzi but we'll continue to sell links with the third party authority and traffic stats you haven't educated your clients past focusing on yet because that's what the market requires but ultimately filtering them down further by the concept in the last paragraph is the difference maker.
