GrindstoneSEO Cyber Monday Deals

By Grind — Founder of GrindstoneSEO. Building links since 2006. @GrindstoneSEO

I've been real busy trying to give the world an education while arguing with morons (my two singular talents) over on the X formerly bird app.

In case you weren't paying attention and don't feel like digging through all this chum over at https://x.com/GrindstoneSEO/status/1862909866077249730 and https://x.com/GrindstoneSEO/status/1863440135691686013, I'll toss you some cliffs.

1 Push Links to your home page.

2 Push links to your pages that have a conversion endpoint.

3 Collection pages are vastly outperforming single product pages. If you have to stick with the model of publishing content designed to gather clicks that you can then push onward, despite Google screaming from the rooftops that they don't want to reward that anymore, then I would highly suggest building content rich Category pages and trying to push links to them.

4 Anchor text matters. Sites go from good to bad faster than ever now, having keyword rich anchors on those good sites gone bad will bite you in the ass harder than you want.

5 If you're servicing local clients and you're not pushing one (most niches) of our links to their sites monthly or bi-monthly, you're working too hard.

6 Site quality matters. Use Google for this, not some 3rd party metrics. Figure out if the site you're looking at getting a link on ranks for valuable keywords (ie, someone is willing to pay a lot of money for clicks X good volume). If no, hard pass. If yes, drop the link paying attention to the above factors.

That's about it. If you're too busy to do it yourself, we'll happily help you out.

With that rough segue (I'm speed running this shit, I want to go to the gym), here's the spam:

CYBER20 Good for 20% off consulting. Coupon expires Friday.

CYBER10 Good for 10% off links. Coupon expires Friday. Sorry we can't go bigger on this one but if you re-read #6, you'll probably figure out that the available inventory that matches our requirements grows ever smaller...and more expensive.

Oh and only order links if you're willing to input your data immediately. I don't want paid but not ordered links clogging up our workflow for months again. Sorry, Martin.

If you'd like, respond to this email and tell me cool things. Or ask interesting questions.

Cheers,

Grind

P.S. No PS today, I'm seriously trying to get out of here for the immediate future. Sorry not sorry.
