Down The Rabbit Hole...

Been on one, for a few weeks now.

Building, learning, getting my mind blown open.

I won't go into details on the latter but I'll offer this helpful tip:

If you've done a disavow file + recrawl + de-optimize internal links project and seen some good results...but maybe not as good as you wanted, or good but then the May 5th update pushed you back down...do the recrawl again.

And plan on doing it again consistently.

How often?

No idea, way too soon to even pretend we have an idea on best practices here.

I'm testing a bunch of new stuff there with regards to bulk more frequent recrawls, I'll report back with what's working.

But don't ask me WHY I'm saying to do this.

I won't respond.

And don't talk about it on X (or anywhere else in public) or I'll find your email and unsubscribe you + block any attempts to resubscribe.

None of that is a joke.

Moving on...

Going to open up the consulting by donation thing starting next week (a few have already been booked from friends that I have to wade through first).

Here's how it's going to work.

I'm capping it at 4 hours per week.

So there will be a queue.

Opportunity to book hours will be in order of responses to this email.

If someone books me for a full disavow and it takes 8 hours, then that's two weeks gone.

Her insurance company canceled her insurance because floodplain (last flooded in 1946, bastards) and while she was trying to figure that out, her house burnt down in an electrical fire last winter. When it was almost -30F. Good times.

She works two full time jobs that both really benefit future generations, raises kids, contributes to her community, is a genuinely good person.

Sometimes life just gives you a big fucking bowl of lemons.

This is me helping her make some lemonade.

The burnt structure has been cleaned up, permits on the rebuild processed and ready, she just needs the down payment for FHA construction loan to stop living in a trailer and get her life back on track.

Definitely going to be a challenge to keep finding inventory that works @ that price point but we've got it going for now.

Not that they need or want more work but do them dirty if you need some help ranking higher.
